At first when I walked into my local Crossfit it's unusual not to see too many machines but as it was explained to me that I am the machine.
I find Crossfit to be different to the usual gyms and this is why:
1. Every session is different, you never know what exercises you will be doing on the day which means it never gets boring.
2. The interaction amongst the fitness coaches and the people is superb, everyone is so encouraging towards each other.
3. You learn how to use the equipment such as dumbbells, weights etc correctly and it's all about mastering the technique.
4. You work on every muscle in your body, including those you never knew you had.
A month into the Crossfit and I went back to my GP who was amazed at my blood pressure results and asked how did I do it? Crossfit together with changes in my diet, my GP believes my medication can be reduced in 6 months if I keep this up.
Crossfit can be addictive!!! It gives me such a feel good factor BUT with results!
